I am a proud graduate of the University of Cincinnati (Go Bearcats!). I graduated Summa Cum Laude with bachelors degrees in both Mathematics and Economics. In my 4 years at UC, I conducted research for the Math Department and Economics Departments as well as Proctor & Gamble. Outside of academics, I volunteered for many local homeless shelters and partook in 3 international service trips to aid orphanages in need. I also served as the captain of two of my four intramural sports teams and have a couple championships under my belt ;) . Overall, I made the most of my college years through striving to learn and give back, serving my community and beyond, socializing with friends through common interests in athletics and travel, and challenging myself to be comfortable with uncomfortable situations.
Experience
This year marks 10 years that I've been tutoring math in the Cincinnati/Dayton area full-time! I am passionate about math education and enjoy teaching in a way that is friendly and easy to comprehend. In the past five years I've worked with students in elementary school up through students taking college courses and grad school prep. Working with me you'll find that I'm skilled tutoring both students who are struggling to understand and those who are advanced and desire more challenge. In addition to my independent tutoring, schools in the area have pursued me to tutor their students online and to produce tutorial videos for use in the classroom. Through the past 2 years working with these schools, I've received many referrals and assisted many students with catching up and advancing in their curriculum.
